Fort Bend County: Plane Crashes Into Paraglider

WESTON LAKES, TX – On Tuesday, a small plane crashed into a paraglider midair killing two.

According to the FAA, a single-engine Cessna 208 was transiting between George Bush Airport to Victoria Regional Airport when it colliaded with a paraglider and crashed two the ground.  The incident is reported to have occurred around 9:40 AM at the 3500 block of Bowser Road in Fulshear, TX.

According to Fort Bend County Pct3 Constable Chad Norvell, two people were onboard each aircraft and where pronounce dead.  Norvell reported that paraglider’s body was found in the Weston Lakes neighborhood and the pilot’s body has yet to be recovered from the wreckage.

The FAA has yet to disclose the flight plan of the paraglider.  The FAA and NTSB have not released the identities of either victim.
